solartonic Delivers Solar Smart Poles to London UK

July 2016 – solartonic developed and delivered its first two commercial smart pole prototypes to CLA Urban International, a customer in London, UK. The smart poles include solartonic’s signature solarap™ solar modules, pole-integrated long-life lithium batteries, and high efficiency Philips luminaires, as well as CCTV, wi-fi, illuminated street signs, and digital display monitors for advertising, wayfinding, and public communications. CLA Urban International is a multi-discipline design and development company with offices and research facilities providing consultancy services and infrastructure design for integrated planning, architectural, engineering services, digital visual and communications applications.
