solar lighting systems by solartonic® for Next Energy, Detroit

solartonic® is installing two of its innovative solarlume™ systems in Detroit, Michigan, on the campus of Next Energy (www.nextenergy.org), a living laboratory and demonstration center for advanced energy technologies.

Each solarlume™ solar lighting system is a completely in-pole integrated solution that combines custom engineered aluminum light poles, highest performance lithium batteries, top name-brand LED light fixtures, and solartonic’s proprietary energy control  system smartadapt™ with solartonic’s patent pending 360 degree solar capture PV modules, solarap™, all managed and monitored through an inter-operable wireless mesh network.

We anticipate the solarlume™ systems will be fully installed by early October 2014.
